Nuvonic develops UV technology that disinfects water, surfaces, and air in various environments, including food production and municipal sites. It is the only company that can provide full-facility disinfection without using chemicals.

When Nuvonic engaged Velo, four disparate companies needed to unite behind one brand and purpose.
It needed a brand that honoured the legacy of its four original companies while providing an inspirational and aspirational platform for its ambitious future plans.
Creative & Strategy
A new name was needed with a unique brand identity and a distinctive tone of voice. Gathering customer insights, we realised we have to communicate 3 important messages:
Four into one: Respecting the heritage and customer affinity of legacy brands.
Look forward, not back: Reposition as innovative and the leading pioneer of a new UV disinfection category.
Time to think again: Applications of UV disinfection not products meant putting customers into the heart of the story.
To do this, a new brand identity and story was developed:
New name. New device: Nuvonic is a neologism expressing innovation in UV technology. Alongside this, the new wave visual device tied all visuals together expressing progress, sophistication and originality.
Fresh look: Nuvonic’s new logo, combines legacy brand colours with new stylised elements—water, earth and air to reduce reliance on photography.
Don’t hide the history: Including the history at key points as foundation stones to the future and levering the wider Halma PLC mission.
Impact
The brand is now fully implemented across all channels and is driving results.
